Trayla Trailers began in its infancy stages on State Highway One, Plimmerton back in 1991. Dave Hobbs started out as a one-man-band and was then known as Trailer Centre.
The business grew and some 9 years later Dave decided it was time for a lifestyle change so packed up and moved to Levin in the Horowhenua. He and his wife continued the business under the name of Hobbs Traylas.
Our current ‘TRAYLA’ design has emerged over the years and it wasn’t until the move to Levin that the name ‘TRAYLA’ became cemented. Thus our trailers are now a well recognised brand and we now trade under the name of ‘Trayla Trailers’.
Dave has some 24 years experience in the trailer industry and along with his staff has the expertise to offer a genuine New Zealand made product that is manufactured on our premises. A product that has now stood the test of time.
